In addition, we have several thousand students enrolled on free MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and approximately 6,000 students taking industry-related short courses for professional development.

With an applied focus, championing equality, diversity, and inclusion with the belief that education should be accessible to all, IT Sligo seeks to extend its portfolio of programmes to support upskilling in a range of areas in demand by industry, enterprise, and the community. This is evidenced by introduction of more than 20 new programmes in this prospectus as well the inclusion of some programmes in innovative formats, such as work-based learning and full-time online programmes aimed at students who would find attending on campus too challenging.
